Our primary goal is to give your pet a happy and safe boarding experience, this will enable you, our most valued client, to enjoy your time away from home, content that your pet is receiving the best care possible.  In providing such top quality boarding and grooming this facility will be his/her "HOME AWAY FROM HOME".

Been Thinkin' Aboutcha! To everyone on the staff at Delmyra, I had a really great time staying with all of you while mommy was in the hospital. Maybe I'll be able to stay again some time. As Charter Members of the PET CARE SERVICES ASSOCIATION (Formerly known as ABKA), Delmyra Kennels - Country Club for Dogs & Cats acknowledges and willingly accepts the responsibility involved in the care of your beloved pets. As a part of that responsibility, we continue to maintain membership in PCSA and are committed to operate our kennel in accordance with the PCSA Bill of Rights for Boarded Pets & Code of Ethical Conduct.  We have professionally trained and certified staff who will cater to your pet's every need. Our certified owners and staff are committed to the PCSA Code of Ethical Conduct.

Who We Are.....

Del Erwin, Delmyra Kennels
Delmyra Kennels was established in 1958, by George & Addella Erwin.  
As a little girl "Del" (short for Addella), had a favorite doll named "Myra" thus a boarding facility named "Delmyra".
In 1976 the Erwing's sold the facility to Scott & Ruth Gordon.

The Gordon's were married in 1968, and were involved at that time with the daily
operation of Delmyra Kennels. Scott & Ruth were heavily breeding, raising and showing
Saint Bernards & Chow Chows. 1976, Scott & Ruth purchased Delmyra Kennels.
1993, the new Delmyra facility construction was started. 
1997, the new boarding, grooming & training facility was finished and open for business.

The Gordon's and Delmyra Country Club for Dogs & Cats are Charter Members since 1977, of the American Boarding Kennel Assoc. (ABKA) which became known as the Pet Care Service Assoc.(PCSA). Both Scott & Ruth Gordon are Certified Kennel Operators (CKO)

Delmyra Country Club for Dogs & Cats State licensed and inspected by the Health Department. 60 Suites for Dogs & 24 Cat Condos. Radiant heated floors & central air conditioning. Security & Fire Alarm Systems Obedience & Show Handling Classes. Boarding, Grooming & Retail. All enclosed (14,200 square feet).
